The Opportunity
A growing digital infrastructure organization is seeking an accomplished telecommunications or infrastructure executive to serve as a Board Director and provide strategic oversight as the company continues expanding its open-access fiber platform.
The ideal Board Director will bring extensive executive leadership experience, strong financial and operational judgment, and a demonstrated understanding of scaling capital-intensive telecommunications infrastructure businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight of long-term growth, investment strategy, and operational performance
- Advise executive leadership on market expansion, capital deployment, and infrastructure development
- Evaluate financial performance, capital efficiency, and long-term returns of fiber infrastructure investments
- Provide guidance on open-access broadband business models, wholesale partnerships, and ISP relationships
- Support evaluation of strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and new market opportunities
- Provide oversight around enterprise risk, governance, regulatory matters, and operational accountability
- Advise on fiber construction, network utilization, commercialization, and operational scalability
- Leverage industry relationships to support strategic partnerships and growth opportunities
Ideal Profile
- 20+ years of leadership experience in telecommunications, broadband, digital infrastructure, or infrastructure investing
- Former or current CEO, COO, CFO, President, or comparable senior executive
- Experience overseeing large-scale FTTH, fiber, wholesale infrastructure, or broadband operations
- Strong understanding of capital-intensive infrastructure investment models and asset economics
- Significant P&L and organizational leadership experience
- Familiarity with private equity, infrastructure funds, or investor-backed businesses
- Understanding of open-access networks, wholesale broadband economics, or infrastructure-sharing models highly desirable
- Previous corporate board experience preferred
