We’re hiring a hands-on Data Center Facility Engineer to support mission-critical infrastructure at our Secaucus, NJ facility.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and takes pride in keeping critical systems running at peak performance.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems that power a high-availability data center.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical systems
- Operate and maintain UPS, generators, chillers, BMS, and fire/life safety equipment
- Monitor site performance (power, cooling, environmental metrics)
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
- Support power distribution systems (PDUs, RPPs, ATS, switchgear)
- Complete work orders, site inspections, and assist with installations
- Support a 24/7 operation including rotating shifts and on-call coverage
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in data centers, critical facilities, or similar environments
- Strong electrical or mechanical systems experience (UPS, HVAC, generators, BMS)
- Experience with BMS/DCIM monitoring tools
- Solid troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently in a shift-based environment
